The Latah Economic Development Council (LEDC) is a private non-profit 501 (c) (6) corporation founded in 1987 to promote increased economic opportunity for all of Latah County. The LEDC is funded by contributions from the private sector, Idaho Department of Commerce, Latah County, the University of Idaho and the City of Moscow.

MISSION: The Latah Economic Development Council is dedicated to the creation and implementation of a coordinated, comprehensive program of economic development, to improve the future of Latah County in a manner compatible with local values.

We approach our work in a collaborative way, helping organizations and communities mobilize resources, leverage assets, and celebrate results. Economic development takes energy, vision, and commitment. It is everybody’s business.
