Its strategic location, just fifteen miles from the University of Idaho and an hour from Coeur D’Alene make it an ideal business location.
The City of Troy is east of Moscow and is becoming a thriving entrepreneurial community for those who prefer easy access to the University of Idaho’s assets but want to live in a small community. Troy is the home of the internationally known business called “Potting Shed Creations”.
The county’s remaining towns, Bovill, Deary, Kendrick and Onaway are small communities that have historically thrived on value added natural resource development. Many of the communities now serve as bedroom communities for Moscow and in recent years have seen an increase of retirees to their towns.
